一、项目简介Program Overview
优秀青年科学基金项目(海外)旨在吸引和鼓励在自然科学、工程技术等方面已取得较好成绩的海外优秀青年学者(含非华裔外籍人才)回国(来华)工作,自主选择研究方向开展创新性研究,促进青年科学技术人才的快速成长,培养一批有望进入世界科技前沿的优秀学术骨干,为科技强国建设贡献力量。
The Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program(Overseas) aims to attract and encourage outstanding young scholars from overseas (including non-Chinese foreign nationals) who have demonstrated strong achievements in natural sciences or engineering. The program encourages these scholars to return to (or come to)Chinato conduct independent and innovative research, accelerate their professional development, and become leading academic figures at the frontiers of science and technology. This initiative supports the na- tional strategy of building a strong scientific and tech- nological nation.
二、支持待遇Support and Benefits
1.高位起步绿色通道
给予事业编制正高教职,菁英教授岗位,开通直聘博导绿色通道,授予博导资格。对于进入海优会评暂未通过者,学校提供“北洋学者英才计划”事业编岗位的绿色通道;入选海优后补齐相关引进待遇。

1. High-Level Entry with Fast-Track Support: A senior academic position as an Elite Professor, offered as a contractual position within the public institution system, comes with a fast-track process for direct ap- pointment as a doctoral supervisor and the conferral of supervision qualifications.
For candidates who have not yet passed the final review stage of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund Program (Overseas), the university offers a fast-track pathway to a public institution-based contractual posi- tion under the Peiyang Scholars Talent Program. Upon successful selection for the Program, the full recruit- ment benefits associated with the program will be ret- roactively granted.
2. Competitive Compensation and Long-Term Funding: A highly competitive salary is offered, along with gen- erous relocation allowances and ample research fund- ing. Beyond the initial contract term, long-term salary support will continue to be provided, enabling faculty members to pursue higher academic goals within a stable period. Subsequent career development can be further advanced through the university's promotion pathways, ensuring sustained growth and broader aca- demic prospects.
3. Strong Team and Steady Support: Graduate en- rollment quotas will be provided in the first year of em- ployment. During the initial appointment period, separate quotas will be allocated for Master's and PhD student admissions. The university will fully support the recruitment of 2 postdoctoral researchers. Respect- ing individual development preferences, the university allows flexibility for talents to either join an existing team or pursue independent research, with equal access to platform resources and institutional support.
4. Quality Education for Families: High-quality affil- iated kindergartens, primary and secondary schools are available to support the educational needs of faculty members' children.
